ÖZ-EL Electronic was established by three engineers in April 1997. Two of them had over tens years of business and service experience in the uninterruptible power supply sector and one new graduate. First six years ÖZ-EL operated as a sales distributor and a service center with its business partners. The fundamentals of design

 processes started in this period (1997 - 2003).   The growth of 3 years in the business capacity and number of employees quickly necessitated the move to a new 1100m² building in Ankara, the Capital of Turkey (December 2000).
